Ms. Valeria Perry

6th Grade Teacher Science/ELA

Ms. Valeria Perry received her Bachelors of Science in microbiology with a minor in chemistry from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). While at CSULB Ms. Perry was the president of the American Society for Microbiology CSULB Student chapter and an active participant of the Newman Club on campus. During her time at CSULB she was able to co-author a paper for publication before graduation.

Once Ms. Perry completed her studies at CSULB, she started working at a gastric cancer research lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. The next stop for Ms. Perry was in New Mexico where she began teaching science in the public school system. During the COVID-19 epidemic it became clear that God was calling Ms. Perry to teach in a Catholic School. Ms. Perry simply told God “Yes, show me where” to which He answered, “La Purisima!”
