Middle School Religion and ELA

I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a B.S. in Child and Adolescent Development. Growing up in a Catholic family, the seeds of my faith were planted through Faith Formation and being involved in choir and the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement. As I received initial formation in religious life, the seeds of my faith took root and blossomed. Although I discerned out of religious life, I am incredibly grateful to have learned how to recognize the face of Christ in my daily life, how to pray, and how to love during my time in formation.

To me, teaching at a Catholic school is an opportunity to love Christ who first loved me. Each moment in class is a moment on mission with Christ–an opportunity to be Christ to my students and an opportunity to respond to Christ in them. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is getting to see my students’ hunger for Christ and being His hands and feet to them.  I love seeing my students immersed in prayer and am grateful for the privilege of introducing them to the Person of Christ.
