8th Grade Teacher/ Middle School History/English Language Arts

I am the 8th-grade teacher here at LP, and after teaching at various schools in San Francisco for the past five years, I am now blessed enough to call LP “home”! Our sweet little school is such a gem and always seems to offer a warm and welcoming environment to alum, newcomers, and visitors. One day I hope to have children and send them here where everyone loves you like family.

I was gifted with the opportunity to attend Catholic school from K-12th grade. After I graduated from high school I then attended Azusa Pacific University for my undergraduate degree and later found myself at the University of San Francisco where I received my Masters in Teaching with a teaching credential in Social Science. My years in Catholic education have been a wonderful gift and experience. I feel blessed to continue not only learning more about my faith and religion but watching my students grow in their faith-filled walks.

Outside of school hours I enjoy going to Salt Creek Beach to watch the sunset, cooking and having friends join me for a yummy meal, and going to concerts and music festivals. I have a golden retriever who is my “fur child” and we love going on walks and hikes on the weekends. During summertime, I tend to travel to visit friends who live in different parts of the country and I enjoy traveling to new countries every three years to expand my cultural awareness and understanding of all the beautiful places God has created!
