Ms. Amber Rowlands

First Grade

Ms. Rowlands has a long history with LP and feels that life has really come full circle. Ms. Rowlands attended LP from preschool through eighth grade, and then returned to work as an after school daycare aide from 2007 to 2012 before her position today as a teacher. 

Ms. Rowlands began teaching first grade at LP in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2014 with a bachelor degree in Liberal Studies. She holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with an emphasis in Arts and Creativity as well as an ELAM authorization to teach English learners. Ms. Rowlands has taught kindergarten, second, and third grades but loves her firsties most of all.

Outside of school, Ms. Rowlands enjoys reading, swimming, and having friends over for backyard barbecues. She also enjoys going to concerts and making new friends. Ms. Rowlands has two old cats, Sid and Sam, who she loves very much. LP holds a special place in her heart as do all the wonderful teachers, staff, and families.
