Linda Manion began teaching in the Orange Unified School District in 1996 after receiving her BS Degree and multiple subject teaching credential. She then changed districts and began working at Huntington Beach City School District as a 4th and 5th grade teacher. While teaching there she explored GATE instruction and mainstreaming for Special Education students. Linda enjoyed working with students with all ability levels and differentiating the instruction to challenge all levels of her students. She also, completed her Masters Degree in Education while working for HBCSD. In 2005, after teaching for 10 years, Linda stepped away from teaching to raise her three children. Linda returned to teaching in 2012, as the Learning Support Coordinator at La Purisima Catholic School. Recently, Mrs. Manion completed her California Administrative Credential at National University with direction on site from Dr. Tony Bube and a practicum at El Modena High School. She also became a CAS (Certified Autism Specialist) this past year from IBCCES (International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards). She has enjoyed getting to know the students at the school and the teachers. She loves the La Purisima family.
