I hope to see everyone at Back to School Night, this Thursday, at 7:00 pm. I will be going over this year’s curriculum, sharing my philosophy of education, and talking about all the exciting things that happen in 5^th grade. There will also be time for questions, so be sure to save some time for this important school event.

We are starting our regular school schedule this week. The students are becoming familiar with our classroom procedures and routines. Please be sure you check and sign your child’s agenda each day we have school for the first trimester. They will receive a “stamp” for your signature and earn Rosie Bucks.

Our class is in charge of the first Frosty Friday, this coming Friday, September 10^th. We will also be in charge on December 10^th.

Be sure your student has covered all their hard cover books.

Important Dates:

Thursday, 9/9: Spelling Workbook and Vocab. Notebook due

Friday, 9/10: Open Court Reading Test, Spelling Test

Looking ahead:

September 27-October 1: ITBS Testing

Friday, October 8^th:  5^th Grade Mass
