Treasure Box
La Purisima Parish is a distribution location for The Treasure Box, which provides nutritious, grocery-store quality food that retails between $65-$100 for only $30! Just one box provides enough food to feed a family of four lunch and dinner for a week, or an individual for a month. Visit the web-site to place your order online at www.thetreasurebox.org, or call Kim at 714/633-5800 extension 131, to place an order by phone. Orders must be pre-paid and only pre-ordered food will be delivered. Orders not picked up on the once-monthly delivery date will be donated. |

World Math Day
Students in first through eighth grade are particpating in a world math competition. Students have been issued a password and username to use on www.worldmathday.com. The website allows students from the same grade level across the world to compete in math basic skill competitions. On March 4th, the sponsors of the event will try to get students and schools from around the world to set a new world record! The Challenge - to correctly answer more than 182,445,169 questions in 48 hours. |
